The maximum aperture is f/2.7 at max wide angle (31mm) and f/4.5 at max tele (465mm).

At 14x zoom, you're at 434mm and the max aperture should be around f/4.4

At 72mm you're only at 2.3x zoom and the maximum aperture will be around f/3.0
