The kyoto accords do not incluce China and other developing nations, however at some point if the man made global warming crowd is correct and globalwarming is the problem they say it is would it be prudent to us the force of the US military to bring the world into compliance with international enviromental agreements even if it means nuking China for their disregard of carbon emmisions

Let me be more specific. If as some belive man made global warming will end all life on earth, isn't it our duty to use want ever means available to stop the ravashing of our planet. Yes the US currently causes more CO2 to be emmited into the air, but China is building a coal fueled power plant every week and plans to do so for the next 5 years. If all negociations fail should we use our military to destroy their manufacturing plants and return them to the pre-industrial age to save the planet., or would destroying one of our power plants for everone they build be more fair

Oh, yeah... 'cause thermonuclear explosions are pretty benign events, environmentally. Not to mention the economic chaos that such a war would cause, or the millions of refugees, the mass starvation, the cost of fighting the most populous country in the world.

Other than that, you're on the right track, though.

Just a note for the aspiring satirist:

The U.S. is not a party to the Kyoto Treaty.

Therefore, you are arguing the case that the E.U. can declare war on us for not signing.

How does it feel to kick the ball into your own goal?

(Edit: China will soon be the #1 producer of carbon emissions.)

You can't nuke China for something like this, you have to use economic/diplomatic pressure. By the way, we in the US way out produce China with regards to greenhouse gases, so it's a bit hypocritical to blame China for our woes.

In theory, yes, military force could be reserved for extreme cases, but it shouldn't be a first choice.

Maybe we'll just declare war on the trees. Sounds just as ridiculous as the war on drugs and the war on ''terror.''
