Light

I hesitated to answer this question....not because of religion but because of another meaning it has for me.

For those of you...and I am sure some of you have...who have experienced major depression you may have heard it called the dark depression or the black depression. When you are there it is the most isolated and hopeless place you can be inside yourself. And yes, you face your own demons there. There are two colors in the darkness, black for your life and red for your death. It is a place I never want to return to.

So, I choose the light, because the light is hope and the light is living.

The Word of God is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path- I want to be in that light- who wants to stumble around in darkness and uncertainty?
I seek the light and I want to reflect that light to minister to and comfort others who are walking in the darkness

This is a different kind of question... but I would say light. In light there is no dark. In light there are no secrets. In light, you are warm. In light, people can see you.

Christians have already branded me an atheist. I'll take darkness over the "christian" light.

meh, depends how bright, and depends how dark,
i prefer the not too light path im on now.
i prefer the seeable path i follow now.
i dont believe in god, thats fine by me.
i do something wrong every now and then, same as everyone.
my path will take me down both roads, but i prefer it to being stuck with the same thing over and over.
i enjoy myself, my path, my choice.
i enjoy me, and others who follow or lead me.
