Yesterday I was driving along and observed a young woman walking and apparently deep in thought. She seemed to be just coming of age, perhaps 15. She looked despondent and was looking down at the road as she walked. I thought to myself, it must be hard when a girl becomes a woman? So many changes in her body, mind, feelings. Changes she vaugely knew will occur and perhaps was looking forward to. But now that they are occuring????????? She has been thrust into a new world where suddenly boys all over the place start staring at her. Maybe she doesn't like being stared at. Her body is attracting males and changing her into a what must seem to her to be a reproductive machine. Maybe she doesn't want to be a reproductive machine? Everything is changing, she can't act toward others, especially males the same way anymore. Less her smile is misinterpreted by a man as a "come on." Space is too short here to gone on. I don't pretend to understand women. Any opinions from women are appreciated.

Perhaps she just had a bad day. Young women start years before age 15 nowadays becoming physically mature and getting interested in boys, and adult situations that should be well beyond their years.
But somehow most of the young folks make it through and move on.
Not really sure what question you were asking. This is a question/answers site, not really set up for deep discussion or exchanges.

Is this a question or an answer itself?
I truly agree with your view.
Yes, females are the major part of the reproductive system but females are not only reproductive system.
They have personality, they have emotions, they may have some personal or family goals.
And we as a male should respect them.
As far as men have respect towards women, there will be trust otherwise it is .......!!?
Respect women, love women but don't crush them like a flower.

Actually this is CREEPY, I judge by my own father as he was NOT a pedophile. He would NEVER stare at my friends or us 3 daughters of his during our "puberty". FYI, we don't find our bodies filling out as "confusing" it's very exciting to become a woman. To NO longer be a CHILD is awesome. Same with boys I am sure. To finally have to shave...to "be a MAN". The girl you saw looking melancholy was most likely having a deep thought that had NOTHING to do with puberty. YOUR the one noticing the changes...she LIVES with them. And your RIGHT about a female, no matter her age, having to worry about smiling at a stranger...who might misinterpret that as a "come on". It's CREEPY...I hope your not a perv with his "eye" on teens...looking for a good pick up line.

The age difference may not be an issue but I think the fact she is just coming out of a relationship is.....and the fact he is a flirtatious young man he would probably end up breaking her heart again. So, it's not so much the age but their current situation.

I'm not a woman, but I think you're probably right about that. I don't think coming of age is easy on guys either, but we're usually not as reflective of what we are going through, and society as a whole gives guys a lot of 'breaks' in that process.

You are strange dude. There are plenty of well adjusted young ladies who are enjoying being a teenager. It is all natural and part of life. If I were you, I'd worry a bit less about 15 year old girls because you sound like a perv. I'm surprised you didn't offer her a ride....

The fact that you even really thought about this means you are going to make some woman REALLY happy someday! Don't stop inquiring, asking, thinking.
Little surprised over others reactions but to each their own. Girls are curious about how guys tick, Why shouldn't a guy do the same besides, "What do I have to do to get by with in order to attract this girl to my bedroom?"
Not creepy at all.

She was probably thinking she was late handing in her homework.
When I was 15, I was not aware of any of the things you mentioned....I am still clueless to a degree and I'm 38!!

i used to be like that.....old men/young men would stare at me the same way and i was only 13....(i'm tall and i always looked older than my age) ... i would hate it when guys would do that....i was self-conscious and i felt like they were abusing me with their looks.....but not anymore..... i actually ignore it now...don't even notice it anymore
