Picket the place on the sidewalk in front. Get a big sign saying Bought a Lemon Here and Dealer won't Help me!

Be careful though as to what you write on the sign, and tell people asking you. Tell them only the FACTS. Do not call the dealer names or slander him in any way, especially to people who ask.

In fact, print up some flyers with the facts, like: 1. He sold me this car representing it as ....... 2. The car did this after I bought it. 3. He's not honoring X terms of the deal, etc. Give it to anyone who asks.

The goal is to pressure the dealer by discouraging customers, but stay out of any legal trouble yourself. You don't want to give any ammo to the dealer to sue you.

Contact the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and lodge a complaint. Then, contact the state Attorney Generals office regarding lemon law information. Once the dealer has been contacted by the AG he'll probably do the right thing. If not, take him to court, with the help of the AGs office. If he's licensed in the state (which he should be if you bought a car from a lot) then you'll do him some serious damage. Or you'll get your car problem solved. Either way, you come out a winner.

There are laws put in place to protect the consumer from unsavory car dealers. Find out what they are in your state and use them.

And remember; revenge is a dish best served.....:)

Caveat Emptor!

Good Luck

Print up a sign to go in the window of your car, print up a shirt with name of dealership and the facts - at the bottom or on the back put something like " Want to know more? Just ask." Be sure to wear it at a big event like a festival where tons of people will see it. I wanted to take a billboard out but I can't afford it for 6 months at over $1000/mo
SOCIAL MEDIA BLITZ!!

As someone said, you can only print and speak statements that are true and in no way can be disputed. My situation:

* More than 20 civil cases against the company
* 17 complaints with the BBB - Grade F- !!!

Unfortunately it's very hard to sue in NC once you sign "AS IS" doc. no matter what your situation is.

go to the car lot on a rather busy day. start making comments like " isnt this the car that bob had? there were so many things wrong with it. said it wasnt worth fixing, good luck to the next guy" or say "oh dam, this is the guy that sells all the junk cars, at a high price, i sure as hell aint shopping here" make sure there are lots of people around when you say it. i did that once. couple people walked out. he went out of bussiness about a year later.

Its his automobile, he could make his very own policies. Its not unlawful to sell a automobile with undesirable brakes and its not unlawful to require a buyer to purchase a automobile till now you fix some thing. in basic terms walk away in case you do not choose the vehicle on the words presented. individually, i does not pay for a automobile till and till i became into confident the brakes have been fixed properly. I actual have bought somewhat some vehicles with small "matters" that i does not fix till the shopper needed them fixed and became into going to purchase the vehicle and left a non-refundable deposit for me to get the element fixed. I as quickly as bought a honda with a CV joint making a noise so undesirable I certainly did not think of the vehicle might make it yet another 2 weeks. And coated myself with the aid of making the shopper comply with get the vehicle fixed. She in no way did and the vehicle lasted 6 months till now it end. She wasn't mad, in reality, she called & presented to sell the vehicle back to me for the comparable fee the junkyard presented her. (It became right into a $850 automobile and he or she figured she have been given her moneys nicely worth out of it, and that i paid her $one hundred fifty for it after it tore up on the fringe of the line)

You can arrange a demontration and march with signs in front of the business. You have to make sure that the signs all say what is true.
