I don't care about points at all. I answer so that I can sway minds and to narcissictically see how many people give me a thumbs up. I've refreshed about 6 times on this one alone.

Well you should talk to your counsellor. You could start off by asking him straight out whether the discussion is totally confidential or not, and if not what are the limits. (For example he may be required to tell the police if someone has committed a serious crime or whatever.) So when you've found out, then you can tell him your difficulties if you feel comfortable about it. Suicide is "bad" under most circumstances, because it is a needless waste and usually causes pain to others. (There may be some exceptions, for example if a person is facing the prospect of being tortured to reveal secrets which would betray their country.) But unless the circumstances are as extreme as that, I don't think it is justified.

Well I try to make all my answers good, so I guess you could say I want both the 2 points, then the 10 points:D Honestly, if the Q/A is important to me then what I want more than the BA is to know I was heard and hopefully helped

Thanks for being my 1500th answer, discounting old Q's I answered that have been removed

I like to answer quality questions but some days they are non existant, then I have to resort to bullshtt qs or just get away from the computer. But the leaves are popping out on the tree's and summer is coming I think, I will have better things to do than waste my time here.
I never try for best answers or expect any because I am an atheist answering christians questions.
Apparently, I contribute nothing to this forum.

My friends are the most important things to me. I would say family, because most of my family are great people, but I consider them friends. My father on the other hand I don't care about at all, so Family can't be the most important, nor should it be, blood relation has nothing to do with being a good person or even being a nice person, it's highly overrated. What would follow next would be fun and laughter. Enjoying life and being with the people I care about, those are the important things in life.

I just like to give good answers or sometimes offer support for answers that have already been given. I don't really care about the points, but it is good to get a best answer now and then.

I don't answer for any points,

when I first came on here a few weeks ago I thought it would be serious questions and people who wanted serious answers, then I saw what goes on and was going to stop,

but decided (to borrow an idea) "It is not the healthy that needs the doctor, but the sick."

So God bless you all.

Personally,I couldn't care less about accumulating points...I am here to to defend the gospel,to share my knowledge, learn and have fun, often times being quite the silly character, employing my quick wit and sharp tongue to invoke a laugh or two.

I must admit,it does feel good when others applaude an opinion, but to get caught up in the prizes,is just a distraction to me....I often choose answers that I know will result in numerous thumbs down....this tells me that at least people are listening. Man,that was way too serious...Sorry....I will try to lighten up a bit, now.

Also depends on my mood. Sometimes I can snap off witty replies. Today I'm feeling a bit introspective, and the answers(although not worth the 10pts) are slower and (well frankly more boring) more thoughtful.

Depends on the question. Some times I don't care about getting the best answer. Other times I try my best to give the best answer.
