I mean sometimes you feel more at ease with the world than with church folk, too much judging, too many woolf in sheep clothing, even people in the world dont go arround like, many people dont go to Church because of the behaviour of certain church people, i mean sunday morning is known as the most segregated time of the week, and yet we preach God is no respector of people and frantically utter: "judge not", sometimes there is no love just ritualism. Why?
I have experienced it myself, racism, hypocresy, gossip, people who judge u, u name it, its horrendous.
I love God with all my heart and won't stop no matter what people do, but what about new converts or the world how do you think they are going to see us if we stick only to talking the talk and not walk the walk,
a man can never judge another paul says, if u do do then u make urself God, walk one mile on a person's shoe, and only then u can get him/her.
God bless y'all
pray 4 the peace of Jerusalem

Hi my friend,
it is sad indeed how things like this happen, but you have to see that you are in a very special place.
Why you might ask?
because you are in a land that has no barrier in which the enemy can easaly attack.
a land that has no worriers (and if it does they are very few and are not strong) to protect them
a land where the plants whont grow for there is no one that knows how to plant it.
This land is your church (congregation) and God has put you there for he needs a brave soldier, one that will rise and make the difference. One that fight untill the end with out looking back or saying anything. One who will start the spark so the fire of the Holy Spirit will burn.
oh yes your very lucky and special.
What you need to do is pray - pray for freedom, pray for every member of your church starting with your self and get closer to God then you have every been
and you will see how God will change things, but the best of all God will use you and you will be able to see and live the Glory of God.
remember the devil does not need the people in the world for those souls are already his, but the ones that are at church he must fight for and he will do everything in his power to get them. This is why there is so much hyprocresy, Gossip, racism, jeolousy in the church. But you as a son of the all mighty God, rise and take your place in God's kingdom and fight for those souls.
God is calling you. listen and you shall hear his voice.
God Bless
I shall be praying for you.

I think I hear what you are saying. Perhaps you need to hang around an entrance for about an hour or two to keep a distance during a "service", keep from fully entering that day and try to figure out what you think is going on. Keep staying at a distance that's comfortable to you week after week day after day. Some churches and their attendees these days aren't much different than the local psych wards. That doesn't mean you don't love them all and still love God, but maybe you don't need to engage them at this time too closely until you can figure out where you fit in better and/or these interferences to your worship are reduced. Good luck as I think for the most part God has it all under control in the long run.

All have sinned somewhere. All are human. But in a Christian Church there are true Christians with a few hypocrites & a few looking for the Truth of God not yet saved.
Walk in forgiveness. Realize that Jesus forgave & washed away your sins, so you should forgive others & wash there sins from you (forget them).
If someone curses you, you don't react in the flesh by cursing back, yelling. You make the soul choice to bless that person. Imagine a boomerang heading your way, dipped in Gods love, returned to sender. This way you don't receive the curse, yet you bless those who curse you.
So, realize that people can pray for you and speak a prophetic word over you, and it isn't truly from God. That is really a curse, so you will realize that when you get sick all the time. Anyway Kim Clement wrote about this in his book. God said that those who prophecied over him wasn't from the Lord. And he had to denounce their prophetic word that he had recieved. This takes verbally denouncing the prophetic word spoken over you.
I have never liked gossip, so choose to say a positive truth to overcome the negative lie. And the gossipper can either start talking positive truth or leave.
We are only contaminated if we receive it & say it. We are judged by every careless word we say. So, we can overcome it by washing in the Word. Speaking the True Word. Denouncing something you received as true but found out wasn't true.
Also, being around wolves in sheeps clothing, teaches you discernment. So look at it as a learning experience. They aren't saved and need salvation too.
But, you need also study who you are in Christ. Redeemed by His Blood, Made the Righteousness of Christ, A Child of God. Born of His Spirit, Cleansed by His Blood. Heirs with King Jesus. A new creation. Etc. etc. Read the bible or bible promise books with verses of who you are in Christ. When people realize that they can't make themself more righteous than when Jesus Blood washes us & makes us His Righteousness, then they won't be so critical because someone else does something they think is wrong.
Also, if the Pastor isn't preaching the Word of the God (Holy Bible) then the Pastor isn't saved himself & his church will be full of hypocricy. The best thing to do is to pray to God where a good Church Is that preaches the Word of God & His Redeeming Grace.

I hear ya.
I changed Churches a few times, but then decided that I had to make sure I was okay with God before I worried about those around me. If I do what I am suppose to do in Christ, then I can only pray for the others in the congregation who still need to mature spiritually in other areas, much like I do.
But still, the congregation is made up of people with all kinds of baggage, personalities, and life experiences, and we are all there to get better. Remember Jesus said he came for those who needed a physician. Church is much like a hospital.
Gotta love them as much as you possibly can.

The best way to deal with these issues is to biblically confront the person engaging in it.
Matthew 18:15-17 has clear, definitive guidelines for this. As it is written:
"If your brother sins against you, go and confront him while the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother. But if he doesn't listen, take one or two others with you so that 'every word may be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses.' If, however, he ignores them, tell it to the congregation. If he also ignores the congregation, regard him as a Gentile and a tax collector."
The Old Testament deals with this issue as well:
"'Do not hate your brother in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in his guilt." (Leviticus 19:17)
When you engage in biblical confrontation, you will see how quickly these issues disappear. The problem is this: Most people don't have the intestinal fortitude to do it.

When confronted with any of these situations, the easiest way to approach them is to ask yourself, What would Jesus do. and act accordingly. Please understand that the best place in the world for racists, hypocrites, gossipers and people who judge others to be, is church. At least in that setting, there is hope for change and correction. Its when they are out of the church that they hurt the cause of Christ.

Bad spelling and grammar are signs of the devil.
Perhaps you should drop the church thing, get an education and live a normal life without delusional mental disorder.

Geez. Sounds like my mother's church, the one I ran screaming from when I was about 15. (Not literally screaming, but you get my point.)
Unfortunately people like this have overrun organized religion. You can't change these people, and they'll do their level best to grind you down and bring you to their level. You need to find another church, hon - if you can.
Good luck.

Judge not lest ye be judged. You are in church for you not for them. I agree churches of old were alot more affectionate to each other, but we were all related. LOL At our church we all go around shaking hands, I prefer the hug method to love myself.
