Why dont religious believers Catholics or Jews use the true and correct name Yahweh of our heavenly Creator ?

I know already, but I am interested in seeing if there is anyone else who does. Because at one time it was common knowledge. And now no longer is,.even though the practice of using false names and title are Like adonai, god. Which are not names but titles.
Do some research !

The reason the name Yahweh is not used is because one of the ten commandments was You shall not use Yahweh thy Elohims name in vain.

And sometimes when people got mad they would say OH ! Yahweh Damn You !

And drop Dead because they used it with intent to disrespect and intent to harm.

So my question imacatholic is go to your priest and your nun in their hypocritical outfit collar turned backward false name using religion.

Ask them to say the name Yahweh for you and they will not because they know the history and they know the name has power.

Or the Jews for that matter may say it but are trained to say Adonai or I deny using the true name

But people dropped dead using the name in vain
so it is not out of reverence,it is out of fear they do not use it

For years, I understand, no one, at least Christians, was quite sure what YHWH stood for. It was translated in the 19th century to Jehovah.
I had heard and read that all the Old Testament manuscripts available only used the YHWH. It has been said that the Hebrew people wanted Moses to ask God his name as desert people had to have a name for everything and having a name for their gods gave them possesion of them.

You know it is funny you asked. I have had Protestant ask me after hearing a Catholic Mass on televison, what is YAHWEH? It isn't in the old King James Version.

Catholics do use "Yahweh" and not "Jehovah" when using the Name of God.

However we do not use the Lord's proper name often.

We do not want to use the name of God in vain so we use the words "God" or "Lord" most of the time.

Jews will refuse to write or even speak the proper name of God. When they come across the name in the Torah they will say "Lord" or "Adonai" instead. I think they show a lot of wisdom.
