My personal feeling is that if you are religious to be entertained, then you are not really religious. You are just entertain-able.

I dont think it has to do with entertainment as much as how strict the government is. If they ban everything people react more badly when they see those things that are normally banned to them. But there are fanatics from pakistan also even though music, movies, sports, literature, etc are there. People are really cultural there but there are still a few people who protest to these things. So it depends on the level of strictness that the person applies to their religion and how much importance it has in their lives. Its not exactly entertainment provided by the country but what the individual values and what their interests are. If someone has more interests in life while still following their religion, I agree they are less likely to become fanatical.
I'm braindead today so sorry if that didn't make sense

I'll just address the bold type.
NO.
Ever heard sports fans go off?
It's like to make you barf your life away. Or the other inconsequentials in life.
Personally, I don't know any Christians. Especially here in America.
I know a lot of people that wish they were, think they are, but no. I don't know any.
The Book ... is a different story.
It gives a clearly defined schematic.
Why don't you spend time in that before you shoot at something you don't know about, or confer a legitimacy on people who in all likelihood are in deep trouble and in denial.
Okay?

I think you should find entertainment in things that are useful to you. However I believe the human mind is like a computer...Garbage in, Garbage out. So as for entertainment, I suppose it all depends on what you find entertaining.

Many are the non-religious and non-christian who are legalistic to the point of being GodZilla Nasty.
Eg: thief shoots gas attendant for a few bucks
Eg: liquor store owner shoots would be thief
Either way it's law law, not grace us.
More Excellent: neither broadmindead nor narrowmindead.
POINT: Grace is neither of two "law"s in Matthew 22:36-40.
His Grace neither tempts (laws) nor can be temted (lawed).
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
