any bleeding should stop within around 10 mins of the work being finished but excess bleeding can be caused by the needles going to far under the skin. when the work is actually being done there should a little blood but it just depends on the person when i tattoo my self i dont bleed too much but my wife tends to lose more blood

Well your going to bleed a little bit but you shouldn't be bleeding alot. If the bleeding is out of control than you need to consult your doctor and let them know whats going on. Also, informing the tattoo shop would be a wise thing to do.

You should not bleed excessively. The ink goes on the layer on top of your blood vessels. The bleeding would push the ink out and cause a poor result. How much you bleed depends mostly on the skill of your tattooist.

Please consider carefully what you get tattooed and by who.

how much is "loads"? everybody bleeds a little bit, sometimes more than others. my feet didn't bleed. most of my back hasn't bled much but a couple of times my back did bleed. it depends on your body and how it reacts to the tattoo as well as your blood. is your blood thinner than normal? it is always suggested that alcohol and pain relievers not be used for 48 hours prior to the tattoo.
hope that helped.

It depends on the person on how much you bleed. I never really bled to much. But it shouldnt' bleed WAY TO MUCH. If it continues to bleed just call the tattoo place.

no, you shouldn't bleed loads. If it is a professional tattoo then the needle only causes spots of blood, which the tattooist would wipe away as he works, so you'd not see much blood at all really.

I got a huge one on my right hip and thigh and it bled like a fiend. So a very large one done all in one sitting will probably bleed quiet a bit.

It depends sometimes I hardly bleed at all but other times I bleed loads it depends on your blood and if you have enough iron. If it is runny you should take iron tablets.
