Technically no, but there are times when then cat is in season that it is difficult to tell for sure.

Yes. Well, cat's pretty much remain in heat until they become pregnant, so there is hardly any 'no season' with cats.

Cat's are 'spontaneous ovulators'. They do not need to be in season to become pregnant. Male cats have tiny spines on their penis which stimulate ovulation in a cat.

Cats have pretty unique reproductive systems - because of this mechanism, kittens from the same litter may have different fathers because they can be mated and fall pregnant if they are already pregnant. If you let an unspayed female cat outside at any time, she WILL come back pregnant.

If I'm not mistaken, cats are almost always in season. A cat can get pregnant shortly after giving birth to a litter. They reproduce very quickly.

Get the cat neutered, then you wont have to worry. Isn't there enough unwanted cats in the world? Do the right thing.
