Why is my lower eyelid twitching? I have noticed it before, and it always seems to go away after a week or two. Is it just stress? I don't really feel that stressed out all the time.

Here are some causes for eye twitching:

Corneal irritation or injury
Stress
Lack of sleep
Fatigue
Prolonged staring or eye strain
Neurological disorders
Possibly Hereditary

I'm sure it's just stress. Sometimes, my upper eyelid twitches when I'm under a lot of stress.

Try to take it easy. Rest and relaxation often resolve most minor cases of eye twitching.

It could be stress, as we are all under some type of stress and don't realize it. It could also be a muscle spasm, that comes and goes. Obviously the one to give you a definitive answer is a doctor.
