I've lived here in northern Italy for 10 years and I'm finally going to see Sienna! Yea! We have the "ponte" (four-day weekend) coming up...

So, anyone been to any of these towns and have anything to share? Good eats? Good place to catch some ZZZs?

Grazie a tuttiiiiiiii

I lived in Siena. The Piazza del campo is beautiful but the food there is not as great because it is touristy. The street Via di Pantaneto has a great Internet cafe with delicious sandwiches and treats. Further down the street off of Via dei Pispini is a great Gelateria called "La Strega" they also have great crepes which are hard to find in Siena. This is the greatest city to get lost in so do it becuase you'll find yourself on winding hilly streets with beautful buildings and views of the countryside. It is my favorite Italian city ---favorite city in the world!!!

Siena not Sienna........I went in San Marino and i think one day is enough, but if you like shopping.......Siena is pretty nice(the best is when there's the Palio)......and Perugia is lovely.......i like so much.......and you have to visit (citta della domenica)...........
