There are a lot, and most of them should not actually be worth a million dollars. The reason they cost so much is because of the housing market going up over the past several years. You'll probably see a lot of prices go down soon. But the old historic houses are definitely million dollar homes.

Let's put it this way - you have 2 bedroom condos that sold for maybe $180 K 5 years ago and now they are selling for over $300 K. That's how screwed up the market is now.

BTW - 20854 is Potomac, MD and 20855 is Derwood, MD so they should NOT be included.

a million money is a wide volume of money. From the sounds of it, your cousin isn't contained in the OB field yet. you want significantly better than a BA to coach as a Dr. Does she have a job contained in the recommend time? it is going to take her a lengthy time period beforehand she makes a respectable income develop right into a Dr. you probable make about $a million,500 a month... My husband and that i are renting contained in the 2d maximum wealthy county contained in the rustic and all respectable sized houses are round a million mil. Townhomes in this section bypass for 500K to boot. If we were to get a loan for a townhome and positioned a $32,000 downpayment (not along with ultimate prices), we'd want to be paying a minimum of $2,000 a month, not along with resources taxes. So double the the 2K, upload the resources taxes, and also you've were given a million greenback homestead! Oh, and remember the utilities! So, are you able to discover the money for it? Honey, i'm sorry, yet i don't think of so. that is not that ordinary. you'll discover something a lot less expensive and make it a house. solid success!

I actually grew up in Rockville. I heard that the average home in Montgomery County is now a million dollar. That means there are a lot of lucky folks in Rockville who are now considered millionaires since it wasn't always this pricey. Gotta love the value of real estate investments.

There are so many, it is a pretty pricey area. I know the closer to DC the more expensive they get. Condo's Start around 200,000 and up. Single Family homes start around 300,000 and go up to about 1.5 Million. I'm sure there are more that are pricier than that.

Homes in MONTGOMERY COUNTY Maryland (Potomac, Bethesda, Rockville) are pricey like other Washington DC Metro areas and suburbs in Northern Virginia (ARLINGTON COUNTY and FAIRFAX COUNTY) bec these sought after locations are where the college educated middle class families choose to live and raise families bec of HIGHLY RATED SCHOOLS and LOW CRIME etc. My Dad was in the military and I spent most of my time growing up in Maryland before attending college in Ohio, but now live in FAIRFAX COUNTY where local taxes are cheaper than MARYLAND counties that have a piggyback county tax that is additional 50% or more on top of your MARYLAND STATE TAX. In Virginia we pay equal STATE TAXES but our local tax is based on personal property approx 4% of your vehicles blue book value. Bottomline, the value and price of close-in good homes are based on SUPPLY & DEMAND unless you prefer spending many grueling hours commuting from far away distances that might take more than one hour commuting each way. Good Luck!
