I have like shoulder length thick, curly hair. I shower every morning before school and my hair takes a REALLY long time to dry. When I wear my hair down, I like it to dry completely before I leave for school but it never can, and when it doesn't it gets SO FRIZZY! Are there any ways to have it dry faster besides getting up earlier, showering the night before, or blow drying it? I don't like the way it looks when it gets blow dried.

I have naturally curly hair so what I do is keep the towel on my head until the last minute. It is difficult to get your hair completely dry without blow drying it. Beleive me I wish there was..
Good Luck.

Sorry hunny I am a hair stylist and Its seem u already know uf options. Have u ever tryed using the diffuser part of the blow dryer?(the flat attachment thingy that looks like a waffle Iron.) that will take ten to fifteen minutes and wont blow ur hair around so u can leave fast without the friz. u should only be washing it 3-4 x a week . curly hair is dry hair and needs ur natural oils from the sebaciouse glands to stay healthy. hopefully u dont color it too much either.

Stick your head out the window and drive for a while. There aren't any other option after you have eliminated washing the night before, blow drying and getting up earlier.

If it is long enough, using an ironing board, place your hair between two towels and iron it straight. Some classmates of mine did that to get their hair super straight. This would be for Caucasian hair.

Use a super absorbent microfiber hair towel.

Besides drying your hair faster, you can tame frizzies by using a hair cream like Kiehl's Silk Groom or with a drop of jojoba oil. Jojoba oil is non-comedogenic & washes out easily.

You can also braid your hair, twist it into a bun & secure it w/ hair pins. Then apply something like Pantene hair pomade to smooth out your hair.

Without using a hair dryer, I don't see how unless you get it cut very short, then it will dry very quickly.
