I got extension vga cable for my monitor.
It was thiner than the orginal vga cable.
When I tuner the computer back on I felt it got foggy.
Could this happen?
If it can, could it be because it is thin cable or extended cables?

Yes it can. Using and extiontion cable can cause the signal to degrade. You will need to find a better cable.
