I'm not in the habit of being nice just because someone "dares" me. I tell the truth at all times and don't hold back with anything, no matter how hurtful or callous it could sound if it does good in the long run.

Those who don't like my blunt manner are free not to like me or talk with me, it is not my loss for other people's opinions of me, just being the person that I am naturally. Like it or not, it is not my problem.

How about a poem the Lord gave me 23 years ago.

PRAISE HIM

March 15, 1984

Praise him in the sunshine.

Praise him in the snow.

Praise him when it's seventy,

Or when it's ten below.

Praise him in the morning.

Praise him in the night.

Praise him when you're sorrowing,

Or bubbling with delight.

Praise him during sickness.

Praise him in your health.

Praise him in your poverty.

Praise him for your wealth.

Praise Him for a baby girl,

Or for a baby boy.

Praise Him for that special mate

Who fills your heart with joy.

Praise Him for the food you eat.

Praise Him for your drink.

Praise Him for the mind which has

Enabled you to think.

Praise Him for your hands and feet,

And a voice to sing,

Wonderful sweet praises to

Our glorious Lord and King.

Praise Him that you're free from sin

Let praise fill all your ways.

For every good and perfect gift,

Offer up your praise.

And as death draws you nearer

In your life's final days;

Look back upon his bounteous love

And give the Lord more praise.

Then entering into Heaven

A lovely anthem raise.

Before the Lord of glory

Sing endless songs of praise.

C. R. Lord

There is no doubt religion has inspired some great things.

Listening to some "God-inspired" music almost makes me wish I believed. Van Morrison at the moment, love it anyway, but if belief could make me that talented and inspired I'd surely give it a go...

Robert Shelton is actually a nice guy. He just has different views. People bash him and swear at him because of all those kind of questions he posts. I once heard him mention that he hates the chinese and koreans because they eat dogs and it made me think, this guy must love dogs. To me, that's already a nice thing about him.

May the Lord rain His blessings down upon you, and upon all your loved ones, today and every day.
Remember that, no matter how bad things get, He loves us.
