The same way you'd find them if you saw them yesterday.
Use Google or another search engine to search for their name.
Use Yahoo's "People Finder", and search for their name or e-mail address. Go to the various popular sites (MySpace, FaceBook, etc.), and search for the name, any user-names you know they ever used, their nicknames, etc.)

Well if you have there full name go to intellius.com and do a people search

Go to http.//www.dogpile.com and put in his name and state you think he might be in and then check the names they give you in case there is more that his in the list.
