You need to be working out to lose weight.

As stated before. The weight you are at right now is perfect. You necessarily don't need to work out to lose weight but need to create an caloric deficit within your diet. This is not recommended though because most people will go into eating disorders. Working out should not be a pain and is not only use to lose weight. Go ahead and try the gym. Losing weight in 2 weeks is possible but should not be more than 2 - 4 lbs. Anything else than that and you are asking for trouble.

Go to GNC and get the release program with the censor. Take two or three of the censor, three times a day, and you'll see results quick. My husband did this. It just melts the fat right off. It's pretty expensive though.
I'm a firm believer of detox diets. They've changed the way I eat and look at food completely. I recommend "The Raw Food Detox Diet" by Natalia Rose. It sounds like it's all raw, but it's not.
But really, for quick weight loss, try the first thing I mentioned. It's all natural and really works wonders in a short time.

It is harder to burn fat without some resistance training but if you know your BMR you can get a fairly accurate needed caloric intake. This will show how many calories you need in a given day to maintain your weight. You need to eat 200-700 calories lower then that number. Here is a link fill in you age, weight, height, and body fat percentage (you will need a fat caliper and do a 7 or 9 point pinch test) and use the Katch McArdle Formula see where you are based on your activity level and look at lose weight there is your caloric intake you need to lose weight.

There are 2 ways to lose weight and not workout.

1. Gastric bypass surgery. Get your stomach stapled, lose the weight, lose your muscle mass because you can't eat enough to maintain them, have some serious problems.

2. Go on a fad diet, lose the weight, lower your metabolism, put even more weight on when you go off the diet.

Those are the other options. Alternatively, you can diet AND exercise, raise your metabolism, and keep the weight off for the rest of your life. It's up to you.

When you get hungry eat just a spoon full of peanut butter. I know it sounds silly but it will really fill you up. If that's all you eat you're bound to lose weight, just don't eat it too much! Once or twice a day is plenty! When you get thirsty drink water or some kind of diet soda. You'll watch those pounds fall right off!

You have to "lose" weight ("loose" is what you want your pants to be when the pounds are gone).

According to http://www.freedieting.com/tools/ideal_body_weight.htm a male your height, with a medium build, should weigh 118 - 122 so you're a few pounds under, unless you have a large frame.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
