YUP! My back pain proves it. I am not sure it some days if it proves any thing other than I have stamina. I do try to pick my battles tho most are not worth the fight any how. It is worth it if someone learns something. A kinder gentler world would be great.

If you don't keep trying to push the boulder up the hill, it may start rolling backwards and roll over you. If you step to the side and release the boulder you are nowl stuck on the hill -- having worked so hard to get to that point. So, you either go back down and start again with the boulder, or go forward into the unknown.

Sure it is Courtney. I do feel at times I am pushing a boulder up a hill. I do not expect, right here and now, to change what anyone thinks, nor will anyone change what I think.
What does happen is...later someone may think about it, maybe when something else is said or happens to them AND in the meantime, my beliefs grow stronger and more resolute.
I really do not care about anyone proving something to me...I can find out those things on my own.

Like a humming bird in a hurricane...
But if we stop, the antitheist boulder will roll back over anyone who might be waivering in their faith. Jesus teaches us that a good shepherd will leave 99 sheep to go after 1 who is lost. If it's a good fight for Him, it's a good fight for me.

Learning one thing about God can bring victory to a person. Learning to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior brings eternal life in Heaven. Yeah, it is worth it, praise God.

I've felt like Sisyphus my whole life, but I will never give in to the forces of superstitious conformity and organized ignorance. The future is far too important to surrender it to those who worship the past.

no I do not feel like that! My life is great each and everyday because I have Jesus in my heart, life and soul. And yes one person saved! That is fabulous. Heaven rejoices everytime someone returns to the truth. Watch that spirit of error that is messing with you. You need to teach with love and truth, not discouragement. Go pray because you have a job to do for the Lord. Seek His guidance.

Maybe you should ask that one person who learned about evolution or God or anything. This battle is fought one person at a time, hon!

Yes, that's a common theme.
Read Camus' "Sisyphus, the Hero".
It's excellent.

Isn't this place for killing time for 9 to 5? Noble idea and everything, but let's remember the number one priority.
