She is going out with some young punk who is only 17. I really love her, I think she is just doing this to make me jelous because I never told her how I felt. She I let her know next time I see her that I love her?

Even if she was 18 the age gap there is pretty big, i know some relationships with age gaps work but really i would think your interest and hers would be much different and to be honest at her age i doubt love and marriage are on her mind right now. She is at an age where she should be enjoying her youth and you are at an age to be settled and mature. This has to be a lust thing and maybe she did give you the time of day at one time but i would assume it was because it was flattering to her to have an older man interested in her or the idea of some man wanting to take care of her but in the end she is dating a 17 year old because well, they have things in common and she should persue that. You need to meet someone your age and leave her be. If you really care for her then care enough for her to be happy and trust me it would be better for her to like i said before, enjoy her youth, date, make mistakes and grow up before she enters any serious relationships. It would never last even if she gave you a chance now, she has lots of things to experience and do still. I can't imagine you feeling that way about someone so young?

Everybody will probably say this, but there is an issue about her age. I know you may feel that she is mature enought, and she may feel that she is mature enough, but she is still 17.
I think what you need to do is give her space, and let her become more emotionally mature, even if she has reached that maturity phisically. If you truly love her, than you will give her the opportunity to grow up a little bit. So she's dating some punk (her own age, mind you). Let her. After a few years, if both of you still have feelings for each other then something might work out.
But if you truly think you love her, this is a test you have to pass. If you cannot, then that means that you care more about yourself than her. We all know that love is not meant to be so selfish.
I really don't know you, but the fact that you love a 17 year old isn't horrible. Follow the advice I've given you, and it will be all right. It's up to you to make the right desicion.

Are you really 33?! I find that hard to believe, but if you are, you need to run to the nearest "exit". You are looking at jail time. She is underage. You are asking for trouble inviting a 17 year old girl into your life. She has lots of growing up to do and I assure you, she will not be the same person she is now, as she will be at age 30! There are more choices out there your own age. Play fair.

Leaver her alone. If you come on to her, you'll probably seem like a creepy old man to her anyway.
Find a therapist to figure out why you cant date adult women. Do you feel intimidated by women that are older? In the meantime, stay away from underage girls or you'll go to jail and then be a registered sex offender.
