I would not buy a used car over the web. Get some local papers and buy locally to you and if possible try to buy from a private seller rather than a trade because the trade has a mark up. Take some one with you who knows about cars and you will get a better chance at getting a car rather than being ripped off.

i own a repair shop, and if i was you, i wouldn't buy from a web site on the net,its the best place to get burnt on a car that there is,instead try looking in your local auto trader for a good car, there should be a lot of them in there for 2k and under, and they probably will be closer to you so you can look at them,if you buy off of here ,you will get took ,most people i know of have had problems from vehicles bought off the net,so id try looking in the paper, you,ll get a lot better deal i guarantee you, good luck hope this helps.

We buy used cars all the time. You just have to know what to look for when going on a test drive. In most cases, if you can find a used car from a private seller...instead of a dealership... you'll get a much better deal. MOST private owners take better care of their cars than a dealership. We've gotten screwed twice with pieces of **** from Bill Heard Chevy...DON'T GO THERE!
