In the 60's,70's and even most of the 80's it wasn't much of a problem. It's not as if there was a wall/fence and we took it down.Mexico has always been poor so why didn't they come back then?

Just to distract people from the real problems in this country.

Lets blame iligal immigrants for everything.

Right...good job.

One day all the truth will come out, and it won't be pretty.

Because the people in control WANT the illegal aliens to get out of hand. If they didn't want that then you wouldn't have 4 different officers going to PRISON (also in one trial the jurors were threatened that it would NOT end in a hung jury, THAT came directly from one of the actual jurors) for just DOING THEIR JOB!

They DID come across back then but we actually had border control agents...a lot of them compared with what we have now.

Why do they want illegal aliens to come across? Because they want to further the North American Union between Mexico, the USA and Canada...into ONE nation.

The government has been planning this as long as they planned the war. With all our men & women overseas I think the government planned to compensate by ALLOWING mass illegal immigration from our southern border. When things are this screwed up just follow the trail of money...I betcha it leads straight to the white house.

Actually it was a problem in the 80s.

You may recall the amnesty that was granted in 1986.

Four reasons:

A. Mexico is a corrupt basket case. A kleptocracy.
B. We don't control our own border.
C. We don't enforce our laws.
D. Many are quite willing to wink-wink at illegal aliens as employees and customers if it's good for their bottom line.

After that era president Regan granted amnesty and voila the illegals were not illegal anymore.

So, you tell me, was it a good idea? Problem seemed to be controlled for a while, no?

That was before all the nice entitlement programs. FREE medical assistance, FREE food, FREE money if you have kids. etc, etc, etc. Since 1980's people no longer had to prove they were citizens to get welfare. Now Bush wants to give em our SS too...............
