im only 26, but im looking for long term woman, not just hook up for a night. someone i think would be great to spend the rest of my life with and would be a good mother for my children. as far as personality, i would say relaxed, kind, honest, fun to be around.

I am 31.. to simplify, let's just assume it is you.. In my mind these are the things I am most likely to consider.
You would have to be intelligent, have dignity, and take care of yourself physically and emotionally. I don't mind kids at all as long as there is no residual daddy drama. Life happens, who am I to judge? You have to be accepting of past faults and emotionally detached from past relationships. Looks are not all that important, I am not seeking a trophy to show off. Height / weight proportionate, I am not picky. I don't care what your occupation or career is, as long as you have one that you are happy with, and you have time to invest in a relationship. You gotta love dogs, no exceptions on that one, sorry. I am not looking for someone that is trendy or fashionable.. I am certainly neither of those. I don't care about religious beliefs or political affiliations, I have none. I am a free thinker that refuses to conform. You should be too, or I will drive you crazy. I am not a socialite out there looking to make friends and get deeply personal with every person I see in my everyday life. I am very rational and think before I speak and act, so I never get caught up in anything spontanious. No drama queens allowed (I have had enough for a lifetime). Trust and open communication means everything to me, so when those are gone.. so am I.
Yeah... that's about it :)
So, there's my priorities if I was looking for someone..
I am sure that the answer would be different for anybody that was equally as descriptive, I can only answer for myself.

Personality and confidence do the trick for me... I'm 27 and love a woman that knows what she wants and best of all knows how to get it.

Not an easy question. But in my twenties and now in early 30's I seek:
-Someone who shows ineterest in me (to my needs and likes)
-Someone who is willing to share time together.
-Someone who accepts you without judging too much.
Someone fun (not necessarily a comedian, but that makes you smile).
-Someone who never flirts nor lies.
