You are right to say that surrendered would mean we can choose not to sin. Paul says in scripture that "what he wanted to do, he didn't and what he should do he didn't". Being surrendered to Christ means that we desire to do His will- however, 1 John is written to believers not to unbelievers-and it says in the 1st chapter- that if we say we are without sin we deceive ourselves- but, if we confess our sin , He is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we are truly born again believers though I believe surrender to Christ means our greatest desire is to live pure, holy lives and if we do slip, because we are surrendered we will be so sensitive to the Spirit that we will immediately come to him for forgiveness. This does not mean we can sin and then grace will abound even more- that is wrong-

We are all human beings. We all sin. A perfectly surrendered life is the path to a sinless life if you are surrendering to God. Blessed Mother Teresa and Pope John Paul II both are examples to us of perfectly surrendered lives but they still attended confession at least once a week. I think we can come very close to a sinless life on earth but perfection will be reached when we are in total communion with God in heaven.

If you surrender your life by dying the rest of your existence will be sinless.
Or you could surrender your belief and live a reality based life in the best way you can. You will make mistakes and you may make bad choices but you can learn from both and try to do better in the future. That is all that nature asks of you.

Seeing that we are living in a sinful world, it is impossible for Christians to live a sinless life. However, this does not give us the go head to live our life like God will not judge us for what we have done in our body. So not because we are in a sinful world we should seek to live anyhow, the real goal is that we should seek to be more like Christ as the days go by.

its impossible to live a sinless life, by about my age (15) most teens (usually male) think more and more about sex, by about 18 and up they have a more able life, they have more available actions (think that through for yourself) and also, a few people dont take care of their bodies, becoming gluttonious, then you look at other people, who kill their bodies trying to keep it in shape 99% of them are overly stuck up or just plain dumb, you take your average person who did not go to college, they know less than others, and are therfor more liable to hurt themselves, then you take the people who hurt themselves for their sins, and you take those ho arent nice to others for what the other person believes in.
then tell me, can you really be un sinfull? go a day withut finding something that may anger you a little, go a month without eating more than you need, go a year without being rude to someone else.
its almost impossible (exept for the being rude part, thats impossible)
personally im a athiest, i dont wory about sining, but i do try to be the best possible person i can.
edit: oh yes, and if you mean surrender by death, thats a sin ;)

Well as christians we try to be perfect after following in Jesus' footsteps, but I believe we are perfect in God's eyes as believers because He cannot view sin! But to be completely sinless I believe is a little out of reach. But as christians we work our whole lives to become that way.

I would tend to agree. To choose not to sin by God's leading and not out of our own morality is to make an effort to live a sanctified and pious life in the Word of God.

If you surrender yourself to critical thinking, you'll realize there are no gods, and your life will indeed be sinless.
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

Yes it would. Because to live perfect you have to have Jesus Christ living in you. Because were he is there is no sin. 1 John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

No, when we give of outselves to God, and submit our lives to him, we are asking for forgiveness for our previous life. Once we do this because we are imperfect, we will on occasion sin. We must ask forgiveness of God again, and go on trying hard not to sin again.
