try to write a four line ryming poem/song to praise Gods goodness, as David did all through the Psalms.
Anyoneone-else want to give it a go?
You Oh Lord are my Joy, my Light and my Happiness,
My Peace, my Comfort and my rest,
You are so Devine, God of all gods and the best,
Because of you I am truely Blessed!
Yay I did it,*smile*
...it doesn't have to rhyme!

when life gets me down, I seek you face,
when i am not perfect, i receive you grace,
you gave so much, and ask so little,
you are my savior, now and forever.

First of all it is always good to praise God. I can give a little advise and that would be to base this on something major that has happened in your life. Songs such as "He Touched Me" you know what a difference Jesus has made when he came into your life. "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" was written by a man that had lost everything his wife, his home, every thing he held dear. He sat down under a shade tree when anybody else would have lost all hope he held his faith in Jesus and wrote that song. "Amazing Grace" was written by a man who rejected God time and time again. He was a sailor and a huge wave washed him off the ship into the ocean on a stormy night no one knew what had happened all hope was gone till he cried out to Jesus and another wave washed him back up on the ship. He said amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a retch like me. He later used the Melody from a tune a slave who was being transported to the U S was humming down in the bottom of the ship. Good luck and pour your heart into it and praise God with all you have.

Lord, take my life,
And simply let it be -
Yours O Lord, and Yours alone,
Wherever I may be
You are wonderful
Provider of such grace,
Lord I want to be with You
Forever in your embrace
I rely on You
I rely on You
I rely on You
Jesus Your my Rock.

Without your love my life would lack all meaning,
For you are the Lord the giver of life,
Who gives me hope and joy and salvation
And I shall sing your praises now and evermore!

Mercies rich; righteous of all
My God and King my heart does call.
Because of Him, I stand forgiven
Because of Him, I will go on living
My debt is paid, my soul is saved
And now I desire to sing His praise.
Thankful to My Lord and King, Jesus Christ
Who will forever reign!

Great words. How do you go about your life in action? There's no shortage of words in the world, but I'm sure you're heart is in the right place.
There's an old saying in the Far East: "The truth, once spoken, is no longer true."

Lord your Grace has set me free
from the cross at Calvary
Without you there is no love
Without your your love from up above
I thank you Lord you broke my chains
My chains of sin that held me restrained
Through your love I am set free
From the cross at Calvary
