Off the top of my head, let me paraphrase...
Good? No one is good except God... are you recognizing I am He?
Being human as well as divine, yes He could have sinned. But, the Bible informs us that we have a high priest like no other high priest, in that while He was tempted as we are, He commited no sin.
A perfect sacrifice which God required had to be sinless.
Any attempt to say Christ had sinned is the same thing as saying that Christ's sacrificial, atoning death on the cross didn't do anything for man...that it was worthless.
If that were the case, we are all still dead in our trespasses and sins.
As far as the Lord's prayer, remember the context, and don't fail to keep the next verse with it- as we forgive our debtors, or, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Consider what that means for a moment. If we do not forgive, we can forget it!
Shortly after this passage you will read that Christ said," For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you
but if you forgive not men their trespasses neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matt. 6:14 & 15

Jesus was God and Jesus was Man.
there was a human body, and a human mind and heart, In other words Jesus was human and the human part of Jesus was (as the Bible says) tempted to sin in every way that any other human is tempted, yet was sinless, (He was able to withstand the temptation to sin throught prayer and following the guidance of the Father.
Remember after Jesus was baptised He went out for 40 days and was tempted?
In the Garden (the Human) Jesus prayed to the Father that if there was anyway He did not have to die on the cross then to make it so, but He was strong and ended the prayer with, but not what I (the human)wants, let your will be done.
If Jesus had sinned His death on the cross would have meant nothing, for just as the animal sacrafices in the Old testament had to be without spot (perfect), Jesus too had to be perfect (NO SIN).
Yes the human Jesus could have decided not to go through what He did, but for you and me he did and that is what makes Him our Savior.

What Jesus means is that no human being is good because we all inhabit the flesh. Jesus lived a sinless life, but he was still in a human body and was tempted by the sins of the world. Read Matthew 4 in it's entirety. This documents the temptation of Jesus when the enemy was trying to force Jesus to sin. He struggled with his fleshliness just like we all do, but he was able to overcome it. The world is the devil playground...Jesus called him the Father of Lies and the Prince of this World...and while we are on earth we are all influenced by his temptation.

Jesus represented the human race before God and it would have been wrong to give the appearance to those listening that humanity was good, they would not have understood that Jesus was without sin and was also divine,Jesus liked to keep it simple and uncomplicated for these poor and often illiterate people.
Jesus taught the prayer to His Apostles at their request it did not include Himself in the petition for forgiveness.

No that is not what he is saying... in this case the word good is an adjective meaning beneifactor, kind, kindly, kindness not perfection which is what Jesus was.
Jesus is not praying the Lords Prayer He is teaching us how to pray.

You are so undeniably right on target. Jesus never told any "other" human being to worship his {IMAGE} as just the ordinary man that he was. Instead, Christ wanted every human being to know and learn about something much more important: "How to get to know your very sacred, eternal and infinite soul that fell asleep from a mysterious age".

I think when Jesus asked the man why he was calling Him (Jesus) good he was in turn asking if the man understands that he is God and wanted to see if he could grasp that. No one did until after he arose from the grave.

No. He is not saying that He is a sinner. Jesus came as the sinless lamb, to die for our transgressions. He is the Son of God and has pure respect for the Father. God bless you.
