All I can tell you is that my sister-in-law asked my brother out and they celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago.

It depends on the guy. Most guys like it, a few guys don't. I think what most important is how you ask. Some women in my experience ask in a way that implies that "you better say yes or else there will be drama". I actually like a woman who is willing to make the first move. It shows she has self esteem and is not living in fear. People with low self-esteem or who are fearful require a lot of emotional heavy lifting.
Yes, you are old fashion if you wait for the guy. Just kidding. I think a lot opportunities are missed by waiting. You aren't losing anything. Don't wait just go for it. But, be prepared to except the idea the a guy is not interested in you. Just move on and next! There may be a cuter and smarter guy he next time.

Well, I am a guy who was asked out by a female that I have been with for six months now. I don't think it's a problem for a female to decide to stop waiting around and actually go after what she wants. I don't know if there are any men out there who are waiting for Mrs. right, but chances are if you wait too long you may find yourself looking at four walls. With this being the first time that a female has asked me out, I guess for me too it makes me feel like I am wanted by someone, being in the type of life I have had, so I guess it also could depend on your past up till now because in life as we know it not everyone was brought up to be the same way they are now. Of course there is nothing wrong with being old fashioned at all, and most females in your shoes are more prone to think that if a guy that you like doesn't ask you out then he apparently didn't like you as much as you liked him. That is not always the case. Sometimes, it's just the idea that we didn't know that you like us like that enough to want to go futher than, in most cases, friends or co-workers or whatever the case may be. And it doesn't make me feel any less of a man that you would prefer to come and step up to me and ask me out. Just lets me know that you know what you want in a guy.

Personally I love it when a girl asks me out. It takes some of the pressure off of trying to figure out how I'm going to ask her out. But most of all it shows she has confidence in herself and that's hot.

hmmms i dun think so i think tat most man wud rather ask a girl out themselves,by doing tis de guy will be confirming tat he like de girl n wishes to chase her. But most guys do not take de first step cos they r afraid tat they will be rejected. So if u wan a guy to ask u out give him hints tat u like him n oso hints tat u wud like to watch tis movie....I m sure tat he might just ask u out soon

I waited for my husband to approach me ....but I never really had to approach guys they usually approach me. You have to analyze your situation and if you aren't getting to many looks your way or interest then you might have to step out of your box and approach somebody.
