because like everybody is havign sex except for me ((or thats how it feels)) ans i mean im pressured to do it but i dont want to do any thing thats not going to be good for me right now

Yep it felt that way when I was in highschool too but trust me it's not that way. You're only hearing about the vocal ones who brag about having sex and the rumors. There are many people who truly believe it's best to wait until their married. Do what is right for you.

Yes it's VERY OK. Not everyone is having sex, some say that they are so they can "fit in". Wait for the right time and the right person. Sex feels good but it's an important decision for doing it the first time. Once done you can't go back. You want it to be special, not because it's the thing to do. So hang in there and wait. Once out of High school the pressure will drop

Its normal you don't have to do what everyone else is doing just wait until you are ready look at it this way all the people who are having sex have a higher risk of STDS and or getting pregnant and dropping out of high school or not finishing you on the other hand are at an advantage of finishing high school and becoming sucessful so you you do choose to have sex be safe if you don't thats always the right way to go i had the same problem i'm a junior and i use to think to my self damn im seventeen and im still a virgin i just started having sex about a week ago but i do and i don't regret it because i cut school just to go to my boyfriends house and my grades started going down so you should really think about it.... I would just wait stay focused on school

Sure it is. More people should be like you and wait to have sex instead of just having sex because they think that it will make them cool or because it is the thing to do. If you can hold out until you find that one true love that you are going to marry, then that would be the ideal situation. Don't be pressured by someone that just wants to add another notch on their belt to say that they took someone else's virginity. Remember, since you are a virgin, you can always be like everyone else but everyone else can not be like you.

It is absolutely 100% perfectly ok to be a virgin in high school... (and in fact, for as long as you want!)...
Never let anyone pressure you into sex.. whether it be a guy/girl pressuring you into being with them.. or even the other people making you feel like you are the only one not..
Believe me.. You are NOT the only person not having sex.. AND there is NOTHING wrong with not having it.. In fact, it is a very virtuous, moral thing that you're doing by saying you want to wait :)

Stick to your guns. It is perfectly all right to be a virgin in high school. Unlike the trash they throw out on TV everybody isn't going from bed to bed from the time they are 12. Just because their are girls like Brittney Spear who quit wearing panties when she was about 4 doesn't mean it it right.
When you finish high school and are ready to continue on and decide what you want to do or be, you won't be an unwed mother or a guy paying child support or have been responsible for a child having been aborted.

Yes it is ok.... if you dont want to do it dont. I made the mistake of doing it in highschool and now i regret it becasue it wasnt with someone i love or truely cared about... i dont even talk to the person anymore! i think kids are having sex way to young now anyways... i would stay a virgin until it was with some one you loved and cared about... not just having sex becasue you can... make it meanful becasue it only happens once.... and let alone with all the stuff that is going around now... i would wait until you knew the person well and made sure they didnt have anything.

Girl do not feel pressured, and it is great that you are in high school and still a virgin. I felt the same way in high school. Everyone was doing it except for me. But I also wasn't one of the ones that ended up pregnant in high school either; which would have been something I definitely wasn't ready for, and I am sure you aren't either.

Yes its okay why are you thinking about what other people are doing. Do not let anyone pressure you into having sex. Just make sure it's with someone who really cares about you do not make the same mistake I did now I have a beautiful 3 year old and the man who said he loves me is gone so think about consquences first.

Yes it is OK. There is plenty of time in your life for sexual relationships. It may seem exciting and what everyone else is doing, but sex complicates things and you are better off waiting until you are older and in a more mature relationship. High school is about having fun and learning about yourself and learning about the world. Don't add drama to it.
