Nope. They're different 'breeds' of lice. The lice will take a feeding off any blood offering specimen they can find, but they will not live on your cat, just humans.

Just to put my two cents worth in, the answer is no, humans and cats do not share lice. Different species live on different animals.

Interesting question. I know cats can get feline lice, so I had to look it up to be sure, and found this:
"Human lice are not transmitted by pets such as dogs, cats, gerbils, birds, etc. These lice do not survive on domestic animals."

I don't think so. All the times my sisters and I had lice growing up, the cats never got it from us.

no your cat can not get lice but your kids toys will get lice and your rugs beds or anything that they get on even yourself they are hell so wash wash wash and spray spray spray good luck
