Yeah I know a place probably the best catfishing in the world !!!, The Santee diversion canal between Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie. Lake Moultrie is close to you but I never fished there , And the river coming out of Moultrie is close to you

I have fished lake Marion and I can tell you a good place there its Taw Caw campground (it should be listed in a phone book) its near the lower end of Lake Marion not real far from you , They will rent a boat cheap as well or they have a dock to fish off of. If you rent a boat go about a 1/4 mile towards the main lake from the campground there is an island there and great catfishing near that island .You better have some good gear I hooked fished there that could move a 20 foot boat

Come to VA there are alot of great fishing spots here. The James River, the Chesapeake Bay, you can catch all types of things. In the York River I've caught flounder before. Of the James River pier you can catch a lot of Croaker. Depends on what type of fish you want and how far you want to go!

Good Luck and happy fishing~

Excellent inlet and river fishing in South Carolina. Go to a location where the Atlantic Ocean enters an inlet or a river. Right there you should find some fish.
