I really love watching John Edward and I absolutely believe that it is real and true..
Have any of you ever experienced something like that?

I have never been myself, only talked to people that have. It is possible that a lot of them are staged but, one of my friends got such an amazing reading that it made me believe..I don't rely on it for any purpose in my life..was just curious about how other people felt and now I know..lol..And negative comments about the Red Sox are really unnecessary..I didnt say anything bad about what you like so dont do it to me either please...

No. The Bible tells us that the dead do not continue to exist as spirits wandering around, but that those who contact the dead are actually contacting demons impersonating dead people. The Bible says that when we die, we enter a state much like a dreamless "sleep". We will not live again until Christ returns and awakens us, and we are resurrected into new, perfect, physical bodies. This is also better in that, if you believe that people go straight to heaven or hell when they die, it would mean that they are watching us suffer and make poor choices here on Earth, and they watch us die. That wouldn't be Heaven, that would be Hell! According to the Bible, we will all be resurrected together, at the same time, and caught up to Heaven at the same time.
The dead in the graves have no concept of the passage of time, so the next thing they will be aware of is Christ calling them to life.
I do believe that it is "true" only that John Edwards is contacting SOMEONE, but it isn't the spirits of the dead. He is contacting demons who know everything there is to know about a deceased person.

ok. I will tell you how but BEFORE I do I have to say it isn't always a gift. I am 15 and have had it for a while now (it was a natural gift for me I didn't develope it) but it can be a big burden days. It is really hard trying to be a teenager with this gift. You have to have an understanding family and at least one good friend who doesn't judge you. If you've got those you will be set. OK, now meditating is extremly boring but it helps. Picture a ghost you want to communicate with (grandmother, famouse dead person, etc.) then focus on their face. It will take a while to be able to see them as real people it took me a VERY long time. First is the fuzzy shadow phase, then is the fuzzy shadow phase PLUS the seeing them as real people out of the corner of your eye. THEN comes seeing them fully Just remember this could take YEARS. But if you try hard enough YOU WILL SEE THEM!!!!!!

Absolutely not.

John Edwards and his like are either con men or self deluding. Watch carefully...they hype up their correct guesses, they ignore their mistakes, they use clues to make good guesses. They use a technique called "cold reading" to get people to reveal information that they then feed back as "from the other side".

There is no credible evidence that anyone has ever communicated with the dead. There is no credible evidence that there is any life after death.

Yes, I believe it totally. I have seen many experiences like that and there are several books written by spirits from the other side. My religion is Spiritism based on the books of Allan Kardec.

Allan Kardec was an atheist french doctor, who experienced several contacts with spirits, which changed his point of view about spirituality and religion. He is the father of Spiritism, although he never called it religion, but philosophy. In Brazil, where I came from, it became a religion. Spiritism is a religion based on this relationship with the other world. There is no mystery about it and nothing to be afraid of. Spirits are willing to help us, all the time. Everybody has a legion of spirits in constant contact, either through dreams or insights. Some people are more sensitive to their influence and they can see them, hear them or write their messages: they are the mediums. Nothing wrong with that. Mediumship is a gift from God with the sole purpose of helping people to understand the spiritual progress in life. It is one of the most beautiful mission.

It is all a show ! plus some of johns employed crowed feelers
were found out a few years back . They would pretend to be
part of his audience and gather info from different people.
that's how you got picked who ever talked the most . Some
I understand have tested him by not saying a word and using
fake ID . He didn't have a clue ! But Satan is in this world to
deceive and deceived you are ...... Also God gives us stern
warnings on this type of interest ...... RUN

I have a hard time trusting shows like that. The whole audience could be staged for all I know.

Same thing for a live event. I have a sneaky suspicion that he has met those people before.

Also the mind will believe almost anything that it wants to.

I've had mediums pick names right out of the air. For instance.

Recently, a medium told my husband that his deceased father 'wanted him to go see Susie'.

His sister Sue was on the outs with the family, and Dad was the only one who called her Susie.

Medium was a total stranger. Go figure.

Be careful though, lots of fakes out there. Make sure they are Christ Bases AND test them. They sould give you something definite (like a name) before putting too much stock in them.

No. As a believer of rebirth, I see it as all people who have passed on have different lives now & like most of us, are ignorant of their previous lives.

They are faking, using all kinds of trickery & deception. They tell people what they want to hear (usually for money or publicity).

no, absolutely not.
they are very clever and well skilled people, but basically they are con- artists, it is all done by a mix of "cold-reading" psychology and deduction, giving the impression they are being told things, when really they are putting out feelers and reading your reactions.

This is ok for fun and games, but when they manipulate and exploit vulnerable people it is absolutely detestable.

also, why do they do it for money and fame, when they could use this "gift" to actually do some good in the world?

Yes quite a bit. It runs in the family. My brother has prophetic dreams. My father, aunt, and myself have keen skills in telemetry. Christmas kind of sucked though cause I knew what was in the box before opening lol.....
