I live in the summerville area. I am looking for a good place to fish off the bank. I dont want to go to far but will go if it is worth it.

Do you live in Somerville Alabama?
If so you are just south of the tennessee river. Ride up to Guntersville and fish off of the dam. Or just go north across the river to Ditto and fish of the bank. Plenty of people get good catches form both of those places.

Not quite sure what state, or country you live in. Summerville is a common name. Without knowing more, I'd say find a bridge to fish off of.

I answered your other question a word of advice watch for alligators while bank fishing in your area I saw some big ones while fishing Santee , Gators over 12 feet!!!
