You could put together "care packages" for the millions of people around the world who are sick, starving, and don't have access to clean water. It's not "crafts" but it'd at least be helpful. I'm sure that the Red Cross would be more than willing to take them and ship them to disaster victims or something.

How about knitting/crocheting hats or afghans for disadvantaged newborns and children? Maybe those born prematurely or to low income families.
Start now and you'll have a truckload by the time the cold weather arrives again.

How about making youre own candles? Usually you can find the kits at places like Michaels or Hobby Lobby. OR decorating small gift baskets with votives, and bible phrases, then handing out at local shelters or methadone clinics?
