I woke up on Tuesday with back pain. Everytime I move my arm, I feel pain behind my back. What should I do? I wanna get better because on Monday I am going on a school trip for two days and I don't wanna feel bad. I only take Tynenol, by the way, so I can't take other medicines.

You are experiencing muscle spasms possibly from over use of the muscles. At night take a hot bath with 2c. of epsom salts and soak for 30 minutes. Afterwards apply an analgesic balm On your back and arm. If you have a heating pad use that on the back for twenty minutes several times a day.

If this pain continues you need to see a chiropractor as they are the best doctors for back problems. I've enclosed a link where you can find a doctor in your area.

There is no medicine to treat not only back pain but almost all pains. Either it will disappear naturally or become chronic. Docs never tell it as a part of their business.
Any disease inside the body gets reflected on back side nerves and they generate pain.
Second reason is the problem of spines.
In your case the cough/ constipation or inflammation of intestines is reflected on back; i think so being a student.
Avoid spicy, stale and bakery foods; add green vegitables and salads to your meals to treat constipation if any and use citrus fruits; you will be alright my dear child.
You can do rock and roll to get instant relief.

Chances are you just slept wrong on Monday night or you did something last Monday that strained your muscles. Chances are it will go away on its own.

Getting a professional Massage couldn't hurt either.
