PCBs, your views.?

What is your view on the environment and the amount of PCBs, Pops, DDDs, and so on?

PCB impacted items are taken to hazardous waste landfills as opposed to the city landfills.

Longterm exposure to PCBs has been linked to nasty cancers and can cause you to die a long, and painful death (that many will blame on God).

It is almost better to leave PCBs in place, if they are not going to serve as a food source or contaminate a food/water supply, than it is to remove it, treat it and dispose of it.

That being said, PCB remediation is a huge industry.
