Sure, we're just kids, but we're all top of the school smart and mature. Ok so I'm 13, my love is 1 day older than me and my friends a bit older. Since 7th Grade (junior high) I have really liked this girl. in 8th Grade I realized I really, really liked her. I flirted with her and talked to her in 7th grade but as you can imagine it was all kiddy stuff. She turned me away and said she liked my best mate. That day when I got home I cried for an hour. I tried to be around her but it was just so disappointing knowing that she was going out with my mate. He was really shy about and still never talks about their relationship. This year at an all boys high school I realize I love her. Every time I think of her I feel this pleasant tingle and I feel contented. I don't often think of her sexually. The other day i saw her in town with him and she looked absolutely incredibly. I seem to dwell on this thought whenever I'm idle. I'm so sad... thoughts? Anyone in the same boat? Thankyou

Oh I forgot to say that my best friend has been going out with her for at least a year, and they were also friendly before that. Thank you for helping to heal a broken heart...

Welcome to life and disappointment.
The good news is their relationship will most likely dissolve because you are all young.
Focus on your path and trust me you too will get a chance to love her one day if she is of the same feelings.
Stay positive.

I'll tell you one thing for sure: at your age you will definitely want to preserve the friendship more than you'll want to date this girl. That friendship will prove invaluable to you for years to come, whereas the odds a relationship with the girl won't survive high school.
Still, you can't help feel the way you feel. Everybody has been there in one way, shape, or form. The key to getting over the person is accepting that they are your friend's girlfriend and not yours, and perhaps finding a girl of your own. Start talking to people and hanging out with others and hopefully you'll meet someone. But you can't just make a girlfriend happen, so in the meantime I recommend that you just KEEP BUSY. The more active you are in doing stuff, the less time you'll have for pining away for nothing. Hang out with your friends, play games, study, exercise, and have fun. The more occupied you make yourself, the quicker you'll get over this. It is a part of life. You may as well learn how to handle it like a man now, rather than waiting till the stakes are much higher.
And try to stay away from your friend when he's with his woman. It will only aggravate the situation. His loss!

it is my opinion to stay away from them... Just be friends because usually when your young it doesn't last anyway... just be friends with her and if one day its meant to be then it will happen... Plus my friend was talkin to this girl and i kinda... stole her away (long ago) =) and we will be getting married soon.. I lost a friend, but picked up the girl of my dreams.
Best advice to be that young just wait it out.
Good luck and God bless

You'll meet plenty of girls. You are just lusting after her but she won't last forever with him because you are all too young. IF he is really your best friend, you wouldn't do that to him.
