--FORNICATION covers all types of sex with 2 or more persons or animals, it is no longer limited to 2 unmarried individuals! Adultery is included in this overal sexual perversion!

--THIS WOMAN or could apply to men now days--wants her fun while her husband is away(she is also religious and claims she has done her religious thing--whatever she means by that).
--She picks an inexperienced young man who follows her like a bull in heat and ends up suffering a dreaded veneral disease:

(Proverbs 7:6-23) “6 For at the window of my house, through my lattice I looked down, 7 that I might peer upon the inexperienced ones. I was interested in discerning among the sons a young man in want of heart, 8 passing along on the street near her corner, and in the way to her house he marches, 9 in the twilight, in the evening of the day, at the approach of the night and the gloom. 10 And, look! there was a woman to meet him, with the garment of a prostitute(she may not be one--but dresses the part--my comment) and cunning of heart.
--11 She is boisterous and stubborn. In her house her feet do not keep residing. 12 Now she is outdoors, now she is in the public squares, and near every corner she lies in wait. 13 And she has grabbed hold of him and given him a kiss. She has put on a bold face, and she begins to say to him:
--14 “Communion sacrifices were incumbent upon me. Today I have paid my vows. 15 That is why I have come out to meet you, to look for your face, that I may find you. 16 With coverlets I have bedecked my divan, with many-colored things, linen of Egypt. 17 I have besprinkled my bed with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon. 18 Do come, let us drink our fill of love until the morning; do let us enjoy each other with love expressions.
--19 For the husband is not in his house; he has gone traveling on a way of some distance. 20 A bag of money he has taken in his hand. On the day of the full moon he will come to his house.” 21 She has misled him by the abundance of her persuasiveness. By the smoothness of her lips she seduces him.
--22 All of a sudden he is going after her, like a bull that comes even to the slaughter, and just as if fettered for the discipline of a foolish man, 23 until an arrow cleaves open his liver, just as a bird hastens into the trap, and he has not known that it involves his very soul.”

(Proverbs 5:3-11) “3 For as a honeycomb the lips of a strange woman keep dripping, and her palate is smoother than oil. 4 But the aftereffect from her is as bitter as wormwood; it is as sharp as a two-edged sword. 5 Her feet are descending to death. Her very steps take hold on She´ol itself. 6 The path of life she does not contemplate. Her tracks have wandered she does not know [where]. 7 So now, O sons, listen to me and do not turn away from the sayings of my mouth. 8 Keep your way far off from alongside her, and do not get near to the entrance of her house, 9 that you may not give to others your dignity, nor your years to what is cruel; 10 that strangers may not satisfy themselves with your power, nor the things you got by pain be in the house of a foreigner, 11 nor you have to groan in your future when your flesh and your organism come to an end.”(VD in all its splendor--My comment)

Prov. 6: 27
" Can a man rake together fire into his bosom and yet his very garments not be burned? 28 Or can a man walk upon the coals and his feet themselves not be scorched? 29 LIKEWISE with anyone having relations with the wife of his fellowman, no one touching her will remain unpunishable.”

--AS FOR CHRISTIANS, the above applies very much so:

(Hebrews 13:4) “4 Let marriage be honorable among all, and the marriage bed be without defilement, for God will judge fornicators and adulterers.”

(Matthew 19:9) “9 I say to YOU that whoever divorces his wife, except on the ground of fornication, and marries another commits adultery.””

***In this case , a christian youth has relations with his mother or step-mother:
(1 Corinthians 5:1-2) “5 Actually fornication is reported among YOU, and such fornication as is not even among the nations, that a wife a certain [man] has of [his] father. 2 And are YOU puffed up, and did YOU not rather mourn, in order that the man that committed this deed should be taken away from YOUR midst?. . ...(1 Corinthians 5:9-11) “9 In my letter I wrote YOU to quit mixing in company with fornicators, 10 not [meaning] entirely with the fornicators of this world or the greedy persons and extortioners or idolaters. Otherwise, YOU would actually have to get out of the world. 11 But now I am writing YOU to quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man.”

--SO INDEED there were some serious situations that needed to be dealt with and as Paul stated such a person , would be put out of the christian congregation.
--Fortunately this person truly repented similarly to King David and was forgiven by God!
--If a person is practicing Christianity, supposedly, and might be planning an escapade , that ones christianity married or not would lose any worth if he or she continued with their plan, in God's eyes especially!

The controversy over whether divorce and remarriage is allowed according to the Bible revolves primarily around Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:32 and 19:9. The phrase “except for marital unfaithfulness” is the only thing in Scripture that possibly gives God’s permission for divorce and remarriage.

The very short answer is that The Bible says the only place for sex is the marriage bed.

It says Jesus will forgive you. As long as you follow Jesus he will forgive you for anything you do. For atheists obviously it is a sin but they will burn in hell anyway. The ten commandments is in the old testament and no longer applies. For Christians nothing matters other than following Jesus.

If you're married its called adultery, and is condemned in the strongest terms. If you are not married, just having a sexual partner is fornication, and is also condemned as a sin that will keep you out of the kingdom of God.

Proverbs 7:7 and I have seen among the simple, I have perceived among the youths, a young man lacking sense, 8 passing along the street near her corner, taking the road to her house 9 in the twilight, in the evening, at the time of night and darkness.

10 And behold, the woman meets him, dressed as a prostitute, wily of heart. 11 She is loud and wayward; her feet do not stay at home; 12 now in the street, now in the market, and at every corner she lies in wait.

13 She seizes him and kisses him, and with bold face she says to him, 14 "I had to offer sacrifices, and today I have paid my vows; 15 so now I have come out to meet you, to seek you eagerly, and I have found you. 16 I have spread my couch with coverings, colored linens from Egyptian linen; 17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. 18 Come, let us take our fill of love till morning; let us delight ourselves with love. 19 For my husband is not at home; he has gone on a long journey; 20 he took a bag of money with him; at full moon he will come home."

21 With much seductive speech she persuades him; with her smooth talk she compels him. 22 All at once he follows her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a stag is caught fast 23 till an arrow pierces its liver; as a bird rushes into a snare; he does not know that it will cost him his life.

24 And now, O sons, listen to me, and be attentive to the words of my mouth. 25 Let not your heart turn aside to her ways; do not stray into her paths, 26 for many a victim has she laid low, and all her slain are a mighty throng. 27 Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the chambers of death.

Thou shall not commit adultery. Even an atheist knows that's unacceptable. The fact that you have to consult an ancient book to know what's right and wrong concerns me.
