Another Ice age could be caused by several things, the most likely would be reduction in solar actively. Other possible causes could be an increase in volcanic activity (volcanic ash in the air absorbs the sun's radiation and cools the earth), or a massive nuclear attack (ever heard of a nuclear winter).

A number of things can lead to another ice age.

A major Volcanic eruption like Krakatoa in 1883. This eruption put 25 cubic Kilometres of rock, ash, and other materials into the atmosphere. The planet was cooled by a number of years causing a mini-ice age.

A asteriod, large meteor, or even a comet impact on our planet surface would cause unthinkable amounts of damage and send the entire planet into a iceage.

this last cause is only hypothical and not 100% sure, but it is Nuclear winters. This is beleived to happen if large scale nuclear war was ever to happen.

There will be another one, it's a given. The planet cycles through warming and cooling trends. It's only a matter of time.. but that time will be in the tens of thousands of years ( or more ).
