Try different types of breads, such as buns, wraps, pita pocket bread, bagels etc.
Also, try chunks/thick slices of meat and cheese to go along with bagel chips, wheat thins or triscuits.
Fruit and veggies with dips. Salsa and whole grain tortilla chips.

I even have the comparable subject approximately distinctive little ones' wanting distinctive issues of their lunchboxes. i don't accommodate that for food at abode yet i will %. distinctive issues for various little ones in school lunches because of fact i in my opinion might desire to make certain they're ingesting in the process the school day. we do particularly some sandwiches (my little ones usually opine that there are too many sandwiches), yet a number of my little ones will consume greater of it if the aspects of the sandwich are not at the same time (e.g. some turkey, cheese, peppers, and bread fairly than a turkey sandwich). i additionally deliver particularly some leftovers. 2 of my little ones have the former day's chili and corn cakes of their lunch packing containers right now; i'm going to generally deliver leftover hen or pizza or pasta dishes, too. some (yet not all) of my little ones will consume macaroni and cheese in a thermos. particularly situations i'm going to do breakfasty kind meals like cereal and yogurt and fruit, or enormous salads with cheese or ham or another protein source thrown in.

I know the challenge. My daughter ate the school lunch once--and i've packed it every day since.
other than sandwiches, which I make with flour/whole wheat tortillas; bread; pitas or bagels;
grilled chicken breast-vary the marinade-usually always good cold; cook some turkey bacon-put in the fridge- and she can assemble her own sandwich at school or send it in a salad. taco salad (tomatoes on bottom-seeded works best b/c no juice; then lettuce; then meat, then chips w/cheese on top); cold meatballs (depending on sauce); meat loaf.
pasta salads; cheese chunks; canadian bacon slices; crackers; cold pizza; yogurt; fruit; i've sent a single serving of cereal (the kind already in the bowl) and she buys milk to pour on top; dry ramen noodles straight from the package-yuck, but my daughter & her friends love them. try some breakfast muffins (eggs, cheese, meat, bacon baked in cupcake papers).

I do my kids lunch everday, I put the cheese & lettuce in a separate baggie so they can use it or not. Also, I go to mcDonalds and get packets of katsup and mustard to send with them. I also give my kids, manderen oranges, go gert, bottle of water, fruit roll up and a hoho I mix it up all the time. Sometimes its apple sause, bannana, pudding and juice.
However, your daughter is 13 she can probly make her own lunch by now and tell you what shed like in it. My 9 year old makes her lunch I just make sure she has her fruit, vegi and main meal.

Salad with all kinds of vegetables (Remember salad dressing in a separate container); instead of a tuna fish sandwich, make tuna fish salad - put what you would spread on the bread on top of a pile of lettuce;cold chicken; 3 bean salad; cold pasta salad -- you could also put small chunks of ham in it too;some people like cold pizza--I never tried it though. Good luck!

They have these great salads that come with all kinds of yummy stuff like cranberries, bacon, ham, turkey, cheese, dressing, everything you need all individually packaged inside the container, all you need to add is lettuce. They are healthy, huge and delicious!

My mom always just made me a sandwich. It would vary between turkey, ham, roast beef, bologna, basically any type of deli meat. Sometimes I got tuna or egg salad. Also, you could buy tortillas and make wraps instead of a sandwich.

You can use plexiglass containers in her lunch bag and then her sandwich will not get crushed. I use them and they work great. Also if you want food ideas tuna fish and egg salad are the best lunch foods and easy to make and keep.
