Hey guys,
I'm learning magic tricks right now and i'm starting to get quite the array of tricks up my sleeve, but i'm looking for a trick or two that really make people go WOW!
So if you wanted some one to impress you with a trick what would it be?
(can be card or levitation, or coins/objects if it's not to hard to get ahold of)

Forgot to add some of the more memorable tricks I already know, Mercury, This That'n' the other, Kings rising levitation and Buddoci (sp?), Hearts on top or Diamonds?,

I think perhaps close slight of hand is my favorite - that's because there is such intimacy with the audience - and they're right at your side. There's no room for error or smoke or mirrors. Very, very cool. There's a guy I saw in NYC once who was performing upclose slight of hand - great performance.

BTW - open call! If you're in the Champaign/Urbana Illinois area, check out Dallas and Co - great store and the owner is one of the best illusionists in the country - Has extensive library and if you're polite, he will take the time to work with you

once I saw a man at a carnival named the Renessaunce (plz excuse the spelling) Festival and there was a magician who had a program to the carnival and he would open it up and flames would burst out of it much to he appeal of the audience. You would have to find youre own way to do that though, i suppose

What would really impress me would be a big illusion such as sawing in half, head chopper etc...
