I do think that these times we're going thru right now, are close to end times. No one knows exactly when; but God tells us to watch. Most people I know, seem to be going thru lots of trials and tribulations on a personal level, and of course, the world in general seems all messed up beyond human solutions. Only God can help, unless the human heart condition, by some miracle, changes!
Candidates for the Anti-Christ? I don't have a clue...
Could it also be possible that anyone not worshipping Christ is a part of an Anti-Christ movement?

There are already Plenty of Anti-Christ Candidates, AND our time is NOT Part of the End Time, IT IS the End Time. Look up for your Redemption draws nigh. The Time of Christ IS AT HAND. It is just a few minutes till the Midnight Hour.

I don't, because I don't think there will be an "end times" exactly, just man's inevitable destruction eventually. But isn't the Anti-Christ supposed to be, traditionally, an attractive figure that many will follow, but who will bring about the end of the world? I don't see Bill Gates and the President of Iran as being suitable candidates, somehow. Blair & Bush are the obvious candidates but they're just seen as buffoons by most of us. I'd have to think a bit about this one...

JMHO.. but I don't see there being any one person that is the anti-Christ, rather I see a group of people being the anti-Christ. A group that wants to see and actively seeks to bring about the destruction of Christians..they are the anti-Christ.
Are they here today? I suppose that is a matter of opinion. I believe they are here.
BTW.. since time to God is different than it is with us I believe no one really knows when the end of time will be, only He alone knows.

Due to fact every bible is worded just slightly different, I still seek some clarity. Cause some say 666 is the number of a man, some say its a human number, some same its a mans number. Meaning it could be 1 person, human kind or a specific man kind.
From my research, you do see 666 in many places. You can go thru symbolism in corporate logos and find it in many places. You can calculate the word computer and come up with 666. You can look at global warming and point to the burning and power control of the oil companies, ran by Rockefeller, who owns Standa(6)rd Oil C(6)ompany(6).
So since I see so many 666's, I am still seeking to know if this is just 1 man, or if it is not a sign that is put on all thinks that are anti-christ. It gets much deeper but just not the room here to get into a deep discussion.
From my science brain, from my recently recieved mind of YHWH (G_D), and using all my senses as a Native Indian. I think we are living in the days like that of Noah. As in those days people continued on till it began to rain, then it was too late. I see the same today.
Plus I have talked to a few others that are like myself, from all over the globe, we have some how found each other. Each of us speak and see things to come that are the same and they are not good. Something evil is lurking near by and is about to cause some massive destruction that will make 9/11 look like a lady finger fire cracker.
YHWH is leading me to move back home, to my Native land, in the center of the highest mountain range in all of USA. I take that as Him telling me where to go for safety, just as He has told others to do in His book.
As He says.... Be on watch, the house owner WILL return. Don't be fooled by a white Jesus on a flying saucer if one comes, it will not be Him. Look in Revelation for His description so you know who to look for.

Sure. But are you going on populist end times myths, or the deeper meaning of the anti-christ?
Let me ask you this- why does the Vatican fear the anti-christ? Some may say they do not. But by all accounts they fear his arrival. Why?
Fundamentalist christians will say because he is the beast, etc but is this accurate?
The gnostics and cathars believed the anti-christ was the one who rightfully of the bloodline of the House of Judah denies the title of Christ placed before him. Hence "the one who denies the title of Christ".
Imagine then, a person, with such capacity and power denying the role of messiah? No wonder then the church fears such a person.
Of course, if you are stuck on populist mythology, such an idea seems fanciful and far off.
I will leave it up to you and those who mark these answers.

I think so as well. It's the birth pains part, where the problems are getting worse and we're seeing them more and more. The anti-christ comes after the rapture.

I believe so. Jesus gave signs in the gospels. Check out the group Following The Way. There is a paper on why the end is near.
