I live in a society where the vast majority of the population is Christian.

All my knowledge of Christianity comes from talking with other Christians or observing the world around me.

As a result I imagine I know more than the average Christian.

According to the Talmudic En-cyclopedia: 'He who has carnal knowledge of the wife of a Gentile(non Jew) is not liable to the death penalty, for it is written: "thy fellow's wife" rather than the alien's wife; and even the precept that a man "shall cleave unto his wife" which is addressed to the Gentiles does not apply to a Jew, just there is no matrimony for a heathen; and al-though a married Gentile woman is forbidden to the Gentiles, in any case a Jew is exempted.'
