Do I have it? What is it? Last early February, I always had watery stools. Then it stopped when I ate bananas then it just happened and stopped and happened and stopped. Then it is happening now. Is that IBS? How do you cure IBS? Is it life threatening? Or if it isn't IBS, what are the other possibilities?

First of all, IBS is 'Irritable Bowel Syndrome'. It is not life threatening. Although there is no cure for it, it is a condition that is easily managed. First of all you need to find out what your triggers are (example - mine is caffeine) then you can eliminate that particular food or drink from your diet. It also may not be diet related. IBS can be triggered by stress and anxiety, I would recommend yoga or some other relaxing activity. There are also other natural over-the-counter remedies you can try such as chamomile (provided you are not pregnant), peppermint, charcoal. Ginger might be a good thing to try too. First I would go to the doctors to rule out anything more serious though - this might involve blood tests and/or a colonoscopy. Hope you feel better soon! I've had IBS for years and I'm perfectly fine. It is so easy to control once you know what your triggers are.

Sugarless rice pudding. I really have IBS, and this works like a attraction. a million cup white rice, 2 cups water...convey to a boil then simmer 15 minutes until eventually all water is absorbed. upload 3 cups finished milk, a million cup raisins, a million teaspoon vanilla, a million/2 teaspoon cinnamon. come about warmth and stir until eventually blend starts to thicken. waiting to devour perfect out of the pot, or might want to be saved in refrigerator and eaten chilly. Very soothing to the intestins. regardless of you do, do not upload sugar or butter. those 2 substances are fairly stressful to IBS victims.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

It's usually stress related. There is medication for it now. However, reducing or eliminating the stress, and figuring out your food triggers can also get it under control.

There's a link below which may be of help.

I had it. Changed jobs and it mostly went away. I still have an occasional bout, but nothing serious.

Good luck.
