Boot Camp only works with a Full (Not an upgrade) version of XP.

Parallels ($) allows multiple OS's to be installed.

But, why would you? OS X is FreeBSD Linux "under the hood".

You can create a partition and install Linux on it, although Linux will install GRUB (Great Universal Bootloader) in the MBR which will allow you to boot either MAC or linux.
