This nation was built on the belief of GOD, Liberty and freedoms for all, meaning you are free to chose what you believe and what you do.
First Amendment
Our Constitution was created so that the Christians ARE protected from the government to not be able to tell us where we can and can NOT assemble ourselves together. This includes: schools, courts and The White House.
Now if we become another nation, like that of what the Dem's are pushing for, by TWISTING the first Amendment, we will become a Muslim nation, where we will ALL lose our freedoms to chose.

I agree Erin S, that all religions should be respected. I have heard of people getting killed because of thier belief in Christ.

Being an American and Christian to Muslim convert, I am totally against not being able to say prayers in school, removing the Ten Commandments from the court houses, and other things that the liberals do. This nation was founded on the basis of religion with the Pilgrims coming here so that they can worship how they like. I am all for the first amendment, all religions should be respected, and those who put up a fight, I don't understand why we just can't accept that there are people with different backgrounds, perspectives, and mind frames, the big thing is, TOLERANCE!!!!!!!!
Being a Muslim, I believe in God, Jesus was a prophet (to me), but if I see a Cross or a church or a Nativity around Christmas time, I don't go to the goverment and say that it is against my freedom COME ON PEOPLE, WAKE UP!!!!!

it's terrific, let them come here and hear the gospel and some go back and share the gospel of God with others
guess what? In their view whenever a mosque is built in a country, the country is claimed for Islam There is even islamic names for the western countries, for australia etc...
oppressive potentially? definitely yes....And in fact there were cases in Africa where a minority Islamic government was elected and tried to place Christians and the Tribal peoples under Islamic law resulting in violence
I think Europe is probable more an example of what some liberals think they want.... its secular... it has no will and no moral force to not be absorbed into an Islamic culture
and so in Europe some people are so far gone that you see some elites in England holding protest that religion is 'bad' (is that a religious term?) and parents should not raise their children to be religious because that would be 'bad.' I guess the liberal church of England is too opressive for them? well it aint nuthin compared to Islam mates!!!

No, this nation was NOT built on your fantasy god but on the rejection of fantasy religions. That is why in the Constitution it PLAINLY says "no religious tests for public office" and that the government may not establish a national religion. And that was to protect us from Christians not the other way around. Read Jefferson's and Paine's work and it will clear that misconception right up for you.
The smartest thing we could do is abandon religion and other bronze age superstitions.

so true thank you this is a Christian nation open to bring in Muslims to help them get saved too
they do have some good issues against homosexuality and wearing clothes toward nakedness
but we have answers for those things too=IF YOUR NOT LIKE US your a homophobic-down with you and the president. and dont try and teach us the bible we hate Jesus the homophobic too, why would we repent -we are happy as it says unthankfull and worshipping the created instead of the creator Romans 1.
