Yes folks.. there REALLY IS a Toe Jam food product, although I'm not so sure the questioner knows that. And since it doesn't come packaged by the pound, I'm sure a less serious answer was expected.

Toe Jam is a tomato based jam, with horseradish, cayenne, basil and black pepper. I would think you could use it as a condiment for burgers or served with some of the polish type sausages, or some southern dishes with biscuits.

So there you have it... I wonder if you knew you were asking about something that actually existed in the world of cooking... I doubt it.

Toast and Toe Jam Absolutely!!!

If you happen to have saved some bellybutton lint as well, it makes an excellent garnish.

I save my toe jam by colour and season. I prefer a late summer argyle over a mid spring tube any day.

A pound!! Good heavens - it must be soooooooo old that it's past its best. It doesn't have a very long shelf life & to eat it now would probably lead to a nasty tummy upset. Perhaps you've got some plants to bring on - it would make brilliant compost - full of nutrients. Don't waste it now that you've gone to all that trouble.
