I filed taxes 3 weeks ago and I was given reference number 1102 when I checked on my refund.?

Does anyone know what this means? I checked a website that gives all of the IRS reference codes, and all it says is 'reserved'. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It means that your return is being delayed for an unspecified reason. Basically the IRS is taking a closer look at your return and isn't tipping their hat as to why just yet. It could be just a routine review or they could have seen a red-flag item on your return.
