I'm a drainer. But I boil the noodles in just plain water, then drain, and THEN mix in the seasoning packet. It sounds odd, but when I first made ramen in college, I guess I didn't read the directions right. And I still make them this way to this day!

I am a saver....but I actually prefer to whip up an udon noodle soup to ramen. Should I run and duck for cover from all the ramen fans now?

I let mine sit for a few minutes in the pan I cooked it and let the noodles soak up all the water. Then I put Parmesan cheese on it and eat it as a pasta dish.

we haven't any o that fancy cup noodles around right here. we've Maruchan Ramen 12 %. for a a million.25 on the walmart. i do no longer jazz it up with any vegetables or oils I gets my vegetables from the lettuce on my enormous macs.

i drainit because then i get more of the flavboring because after eating the noodles in the souppy part i dont like to drink th ewater so i like to drain and not be wateful of sesioning although i guess im wastefull anyway because im draining the water hmmm.....
