Ok, so I had beautiful long blonde hair, got in a grump with boyfriend, and promptly cut it into a bob and dyed it chocolate brown and red!
Don't get me wrong, I loved it but it's just not me so I am currently trying my upmost to grow it and get the colour out. Luckily it was only semi permanent! *phew*
It has lightened a lot and I'm currently at a warm brown/dark blonde colour and I am getting fed up. I've tried shampoo in jobbies which are great, but wash out and I don't want to build up any more dye on my hair. I also don't really want highlights put through every month, I'd like a nice even all over colour (plus it costs me!)
Any ideas as to what I can do, and I am NOT risking bleaching my hair at home... *remembers "Sun in" disaster!*
Thanks peeps!

I just starred your question because I was going to go to the store today and buy some semi-permanent hair color!! I thought it just washes out in so many washes. I'm sorry that I don't have an answer for you. I do remember that Sun In stuff too. I had a disaster with it :) Good luck!!

I think that the maximum time a semi permanent colour would last is through 24 washes.
Just keep washing your hair as much as possible; once a day if you have the time, and the colour will gradually fade. I wouldn't advise you do anything else that involves chemicals; hair dye is not healthy and neither are any of the things that 'strip' it out. Just be patient...!

The most natural and healthy diet for humans is an omnivorous diet, and not a plant based diet, or a meat-based diet per se. The Paleo Diet can be very widely varied and omnivorous for the most part, but the most important thing is that it’s unprocessed, and avoids the worst foods that agriculture brought mankind… refined inflammatory vegetable oils, refined grains (some are worse than others), and sugar! Learn here https://tr.im/4J2Xd
As you can see, the benefits of adopting a Paleo way of eating can be incredible! I’ve been eating 95% Paleo for the last 5-6 years and I’ve never felt better. I have dozens of friends that have adopted a more Paleo way of eating too, and have seen all sorts of health problems disappear, including eliminating acne and other skin problems, digestion problems, improving brain clarity, and of course, losing a lot of body fat!

well the only way to get rid of semi hair dye is by washing it with head and shoulders shampoo, or fructose shampoo, or just time, some semi permanant dyes wash out after 6 to 12 washes but some wash out after 12 to 24 washes. since you dont want to get it highlighted there really isnt any more you can do,

semi permanent colours only last through 10-15ish washes, but if ya hair was bleached blonde, you may not beable to remove all the colour by washing alone. best thing to do is to go to the hairdressers and explain to them what has happened and they will beable to help you. also you could use head and shoulders shampoo as this strips your hair, but dont use it too often as it removes everything from ya hair-including the natural oils and moisture. hope this helps

I m also having this same problem but I have found the Head and Shoulders shampoo has faded it and it has nearly gone by using the hot oil treatment, all I did was heat up olive oil and put it on my hair from the roots evenly to the ends and wrap it in cling film wait 30 minutes, then wash with anti dandruff shampoo and it will have faded! make sure the oil is hot but not so hot you cant bare it! :)

Havent tried this myself but was once told to put tomato ketchup on hair, leave it for 5 mins and wash off. Apparently it strips the colour. Could leave you with red hair though !!!

for me it depends upon the girl. Like I might see a girl with black hair and think she is totally hot but see a girl with blond tresses that is meh and vice versa.
